Arda Guler proud proving Real Madrid matchwinner

Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler was proud proving the matchwinner at Real Sociedad last night.

Guler struck for the 1-0 win in San Sebastian.

He later said: "First of all, I would like to congratulate my teammates and thank the coach for this opportunity today. I'm very happy to have scored and to have got the win.

"This is the best club in the world and scoring is one of the best feelings. I'm very happy to be here and to have scored. I'd like to thank everyone.

"This is Real Madrid, the quality of the players is incredible. We're all always ready to play and I think we've shown that today.

"I'm not just working on the physical aspect, but also on the mentality. I'm waiting patiently and I'm still working hard every day. Mentally, I'm focused on continuing to improve."

Guler added, "The Champions League has always belonged to Real Madrid. I hope we can get a good result in Munich and play at home with an advantage."
