Lazio sporting director Mariano Fabiani insists Luis Alberto will only leave on their terms.
Alberto has made a transfer request at Lazio, but president Claudio Lotitio is adamant there'll be no free transfer.
Fabiani told Radiosei: The situation is pretty simple: Lazio must be at the core, and there must be no space for selfishness and ego.
Luis Alberto is an important player and he has a contract with Lazio. I've always said that we'll assess potential offers at the end of the season, but the club always thinks about our good. We are all at the club's and fans' disposal. Luis has expressed his desire and we'll consider it.
"We will accept [to sell him] only if it doesn't hurt the club, otherwise we'll consider other options. This is true for Luis Alberto and the others."
